Bumper cheque presented to sick kids' charity from Lanarkshire pub music festival

A weekend music festival at a popular East Kilbride pub raised over £4000 for a charity helping sick kids and their families.

Westwood Bar's WESTFEST 22 in August was officially opened by former Rangers star Ian Durrant and a bumper cheque for the final amount of £4011 was handed over to the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity recently.It will go towards furnishing a new sensory room in the cancer and leukaemia ward at the Royal Hospital for Children at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
