CPI has unexpectedly risen to 4%, with BT adding on an extra 3.9% on top of this, meaning millions will be faced with paying an additional 7.9% to their broadband bills in the coming months.Other providers such as Vodafone, EE and TalkTalk also use CPI to increase prices, meaning these customers will also be faced with more expensive bills, reports the Mirror.
So in order to help people figure out how much more they'll have to pay when the new rates come into force and when, consumer experts at Which?
have created a handy checking tool. All you have to do is visit the website, confirm your current provider and how much you pay each month, and you'll be informed of any price hikes coming your way.
