Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes (born 8 September 1994) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Primeira Liga club Sporting CP and the Portugal national team as a midfielder. Fernandes started his career at Serie B side Novara Calcio and soon featured for Udinese and Sampdoria in Serie A.

In 2017, he signed with Sporting CP where he established himself as one of the best players in the Primeira Liga. He was named the LPFP Primeira Liga Player of the Year in both 2017–18 and 2018–19. In the latter season, he also helped Sporting win the Taça de Portugal. A senior international since 2017, Fernandes represented Portugal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Bruno Fernandes reveals Diogo Dalot's new nickname at Manchester United

Bruno Fernandes has seemingly revealed Diogo Dalot's new nickname at Manchester United, on video footage of the players in pre-season training.

United have had a successful tour of Thailand and Australia, winning three of their four games, while drawing with Aston Villa on Friday.

They beat Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Melbourne Victory before that 2-2 draw with Steven Gerrard's side. The United stars are now due to fly back to Europe, with half the squad travelling to Oslo on Saturday to face Rayo Vallecano, while the rest of the team will remain in Manchester when United face Atletico Madrid at Old Trafford in their final pre-season game. ALSO READ: Ten Hag criticises players and reveals what he told them in dressing room A number of players have impressed on tour, and one of those is Diogo Dalot, who is seemingly putting himself in a good position to start on day one of the Premier League season at right-back.

United have yet to sign a right-back this summer, and although reports have suggested they may still be in for one, we're less than two weeks away from the season opener.
