Manchester City fans travelling to Bruges next week will be subject to some extra safety measures, the city's police say. City face Club Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadium looking to bounce back in the Champions League from defeat at Paris Saint-Germain last time out in Group A.
Brugge held PSG in their last home game, before taking three points from RB Leipzig in Germany to move above City after two games.
Around 1500 City fans are expected to travel to Bruges for the fixture, with many making a day trip, or spending one night in the historic Belgian city.
In anticipation, the Bruges police say they will implement extra measures to control the English fans, citing the behavior of some Manchester United fans when they visited in 2020. "B
