Bruce Willis appears in family video in rare appearance since aphasia diagnosis

Bruce Willis enjoyed a game of basketball as he made a rare appearance in a sweet family video. In March, the 67 year old actor's family came together to release a joint statement, revealing that Bruce was stepping away from acting following a diagnosis with the neurological disorder, aphasia.

Bruce has now been seen cutting a casual figure as he played basketball on the driveway in a clip shared by his wife Emma on her Instagram Stories.The Hollywood star wore a pair of cream skinny chinos, a khaki long-sleeved sweater and a blue baseball cap as he dunked the ball through the hoop. "I see you BeeDub," Emma lovingly captioned the clip, in which Bruce looked in great spirits despite his health.

At the end of March, Bruce's family, including wife Emma, ex-wife Demi More and five daughters, Rumer, 33, Scout, 30, Tallulah, 28, Mabel Ray, ten, and Evelyn, seven, released a joint statement via Instagram about his future.They revealed that the veteran actor would be retiring from acting following a diagnosis with the aphasia.

It read: "To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. "As a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him. "This is a really challenging time for our family, and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support. "We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.
