And now the Liverpudlian actor, 63, is set to once again return to work as a soap actor after winning a role in Hollyoaks. The TV favourite is set to follow in the steps of AJ and Curtis Pritchard by starring in a few episodes of the Channel 4 soap.
Michael will reportedly play a taxi driver in two episodes and the scenes he took part in will air on Wednesday and Thursday next week on E4 and on Channel 4 on Thursday and Friday, The Sun report.
