Nelson Peltz, 80, launched a legal bid against the owners of Plan Design Events, Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, after they failed to return his huge deposit for his daughter's big day last year.
Nicola, 28, tied the knot with Brooklyn, 23, at her family's Miami estate last April in a lavish event spanning across three days.
Since then, the billionaire investor has taken legal action against the two wedding planners after failing to return his $159,000 (£132,000) deposit.
The lawyer representing Plan Design Events has slammed the lawsuit as “frivolous”.The Peltz family went through three different wedding planners in the lead up to Nicola and Brooklyn's big day after their initial planner, Preston Bailey – who planned Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s wedding - stepped down.
