Brooke Vincent has candidly revealed that motherhood is "the hardest thing I've ever done," admitting she "flies off the handle" and has "no patience." The 30-year-old is mum to sons Mexx, three, and Monroe, two, who she shares with her fiancé, West Bromwich Albion football player Kean Bryan, 26.
She has now given a refreshingly honest insight into motherhood, admitting that she finds it "challenging" and that it often leaves her "questioning myself." Speaking to Scott Thomas on his Learning As I Go podcast, the former Coronation Street star also admitted she is not afraid to apologise to her sons when she gets things wrong.
She said: "I don't worry about saying sorry, I say, 'Listen, mummy got that wrong and I'm sorry for shouting because I didn't realise that this happened,' because the last thing I want is them to think adults are always right and children are wrong. "There have been times where I've been wrong and I don't want them to grow up thinking they can't be wrong and they can't be sorry because it makes them weak because it doesn't.
I don't want them to be scared to tell me the truth." Brooke went on to admit: "But I do fly off the handle at absolutely everything, I've got no patience and life is chaotic." Elsewhere during the interview, the Dancing On Ice finalist revealed that her children prefer Kean to her, which she confesses has been "hard to navigate." Last month, admitted she was feeling heartbroken that Mexx was growing up in a social media post.
