The 36-year-old Broadway actress took to Instagram on Saturday (March 21) to announce that she and husband Jonathan Blumenstein are expecting. “We are expecting another child this spring!” Ruthie Ann wrote. “Thank you especially to the many of you who supported us in the aftermath of the crash, continually lifted us up in prayer, and doused us with Love, encouraged us, let us be & grieve these two years…and now rejoice with us in this new life.” Back in March 2018, a pregnant Ruthie Ann and her 4-year-old daughter Abigail, as well as her friend and her friend’s one year old son Joshua, were leaving a church event when they were mowed down by a car.
