The NHS has issued a warning advising people to stay indoors during specific times of the day to avoid hazardous snowy conditions.
With heavy snowfall forecast for the weekend, the National Health Service is urging individuals to remain at home to minimize the risks associated with yellow and amber weather warnings.
According to the Met Office, the snowy conditions may pose a threat to life in certain parts of the country over the weekend.
In response, the NHS has recommended that people "avoid going out early in the morning" and at night due to the weather warnings, which are scheduled to commence today (Saturday 4 January) at 9pm, with earlier yellow weather warnings taking effect from 12pm.
