Britney Spears appears to have dismissed the idea of ever doing live performances again after the conservatorship left her “traumatised”.
The singer, 40, has been extremely candid about how she’s feeling in light of her 13 year-long conservatorship coming to an end last year, and recently admitted that she “cries herself to sleep” most nights.
Now in another lengthy Instagram post, the mum-of-two discussed the idea of performing live again after revealing she didn’t have any creative control over her previous performances and music videos. The Toxic singer added that the only visual she liked was the one for her 2013 single “Work B****”.
Part of the now-deleted post read: “The most offensive SO CALLED professional pictures on every tour. I mean they could have at least cheated and retouched them for me… just saying… two day shoots for new show in Vegas literally the worst ever… and me excited for the pictures for five months on tour… they never showed me any. “I’d rather quit s*** in my pool and shoot photos of myself in studios over working with the most offensive people in my life.” Britney went on to say that she disliked having a lot of backup dancers and prior to her conservatorship, she’d usually have only two to four performers on stage with her. “I’m pretty traumatised for life and yes I’m pissed as f*** and no I won’t probably perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point,” she went on.
