Britney Spears appears to be referencing her conservatorship in a since-deleted poem that she published on social media.
The 41-year-old “…Baby One More Time” pop star took to Instagram on Thursday night (July 28) to share what she described as “a tease for a little project on the way.” Her tease was a lengthy video that featured a poem full of apparent references to what her life was life while she was under the control of her father Jamie Spears. The segment appears to refer to her time in a treatment center, which she testified to being forced into while speaking in court in 2021.
Her testimony also included references to having an IUD for birth control that was implanted without her consent. Britney directly refences her family later in the poem, writing, “My family says so / Watched me bathe, sit down behave .
