Britney Spears has hired her own lawyers in a bid to free herself of her conservatorship, it has been claimed.The singer, 39, has asked for the order, which she has been in place since 2008, to be scrapped and she has reportedly enlisted the help of lawyer and former federal prosecutor Mathew Rosengart.According to TMZ, a document signed by the pop star reads: ‘Pursuant to my statement open in court on June 23, 2021, my rights, and my desire to end the above-referenced conservatorship as to my father Jamie P Spears, it is my desire to choose and retain in my own counsel, at Greenberg, Traurig, LLP as set forth above.’Mr Rosengart is a partner at law firm Greenberg, Traurig, LLP.It is understood they will represent the US star and will file.
