Britney Spears is making some concerning friends amid her divorce… According to Page Six on Thursday night, the pop star has been getting close with a former member of her household staff — who just so happens to have a criminal history!

Sources told the outlet the 37-year-old man’s name is Paul Richard Soliz. He was allegedly hired to work for Brit about a year ago as a housekeeper to “clean toilets, mop floors and pick up trash.” Shockingly, an insider who claims to have knowledge of the situation alleged he was hired without a proper background check, which would have disclosed a lengthy alleged criminal past. That seems like a major f**k up! It’s also true that it would’ve been obvious Paul has a sketchy past. Page Six ran a report and found the housekeeper was convicted of one count of disturbing the peace in April 2014.

He was also charged with child endangerment, but that was dismissed due to a plea negotiations, per court docs. In 2016, he was convicted of driving without a license, and a separate charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed due to a plea negotiation.
