Britney Spears asked for Jodi Montgomery to take on the role of head conservatorship of her person. The singer, 39, has been under the conservatorship of her dad Jamie since 2008 after her breakdown, meaning he has control of her finances and her life as well as her career.

Now it's said she's lodged a request to the court in Los Angeles. In new legal documents, it's reported Britney wants her dad to resign from his position of looking after her person.

Instead the pop princess would reportedly like her mentor Jodi to take on the role as head conservator of her person, according to TMZ.

Already having learnt the ropes, Jodie had previously taken on the role of head of person temporarily to fill in for Jamie in September 2019.
