Next week is going to be one of utter chaos on the UK’s train and rail systems. The biggest national rail strikes in 30 years will be taking place on Tuesday 21, Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 June.

RMT and Unite members on the London Underground will also strike on Tuesday 21 June in a row over jobs and pay, in a strike separate to the one rail workers are holding.

On Wednesday, Friday and Sunday about 60% of the national rail service will run, starting later than usual with a few Monday evening services set to terminate earlier.

The strike is due to RMT members across 13 companies covering much of the country voting to take industrial action over a pay and conditions dispute.
