Bruno Tonioli could reportedly soon be replaced on Britain’s Got Talent, with comedian Alan Carr in the running to take his place.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star, 68, had only joined as a BGT judge at the start of 2023, taking over from former judge David Walliams, and starring alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon.

However, it's been reported that Bruno’s time on the show might already be coming to an end due to his busy schedule across the globe.

An insider told The Sun: "Once it became clear auditions were starting in October, as opposed to January as per the previous 17 series, it became clear Bruno may not be able to take part." They added: "He's committed to the US, but the new format for BGT is non-negotiable because the show will effectively be replacing Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway." “Bruno has been a real hit with his fellow judges and viewers so it would be incredibly sad to see him go.” Please check back regularly for the latest on this developing story as it is updated in real time here. From inside celeb homes to weddings, fashion and beauty, get the latest on the stories that matter to you by following OK!
