Popular ITV show Britain’s Got Talent has come under fire from viewers for a major issue that they say is "ruining" the show.

During Saturday night's episode, several viewers took to Twitter to complain about the show’s excessive use of slow motion when showing the acts, saying it totally ruins their watching experience of the hit show.

Although this is something BGT has always done in their production of the show, tonight’s episode clearly ruffled a few feathers, with some calling it excessive and OTT.

One annoyed viewer took to Twitter just 18 minutes into the show airing to write: “I struggle to enjoy #bgt with the OTT production, adding bloody slow mo on all the acts, and delayed audience cheering, it’s just irritating!” The complaints first started rolling in during the performance by youth dance group Notorious, who performed a school classroom themed routine to a medley of tracks.Throughout the group's performance, various moments were slowed right down, including one moment when a girl impressively flipped in the air, and when four of the youngest in the group danced right in front of the judge's table.
