A British expat, who moved to Australia for work, has been slammed online after she shared a video moaning about her free accommodation.
Faye Johnson and her partner, Luke moved to a remote town in Western Australia as part of the requirements of her working holiday visa to allow them to stay in the country for another year, the Mirror reports.She began working at a hotel and was given a free place to stay during her time as a staff member.
But Faye was less than impressed, and took to TikTok to share footage of her living space looks like, captioning the clip, "I've actually stayed in a nicer prison!".She also compared the fridge to something you'd find in a "crack den" - but has been hit with backlash for her ungrateful attitude.
A number of other social media users reminded her she was living there for free and the country is currently battling a housing crisis.In the clip, Faye explained: "I quit my job in the UK and moved over here doing the working holiday visa.
