A dad was left to sleep in an abandoned building in Dubai after being kicked out of his accommodation and having his passport seized.
Frightened Malcolm David Faren was told he was not allowed to leave the United Arab Emirates by police. A court wrangle meant the 63-year-old was not able to work and without money he was forced to sleep rough.
But he was rescued from the boiling streets by generous expats who gave him food and clothes, report the Daily Record. They paid his outstanding rent and handed him some money so he could eat.
