Brit couple reveal 20 reasons why they're leaving the UK to start new life abroad

A British couple have shared a lengthy list of 20 reasons why they're planning to start a new life abroad in the coming days.

Diana Auria took to TikTok earlier this month intending to give her followers just 10 reasons why she, her husband and their young son were moving on.

However, after listing them online, she realised she'd thought of 10 more, which she later provided in an update. Highlighting their desire for a "better life", Diana said the cost-of-living played a significant role in their life-changing decision. "Everything has got so expensive - UK feels like a rip off," she vented, citing increased rail costs, and the "rapid rise" in the price of a weekly supermarket shop and fuel as examples.

Diana went on to describe Britain as "not a great place to bring up children". She said: "It's too cold or rainy most of the year to be outside so we stay indoors watching screens.
