The show - on Tuesday, May 11 - will see 4,000 music fans allowed to gather without masks and no social-distancing required.
More than half the audience will be made up specially-selected key workers via a ballot and they will be from London so as to minimise travel.
The indoor ceremony and live show, which will be screened on ITV, is part of the government’s Events Research Programme a series of pilot events which will determine the manner in which events will be allowed to operate after June 21.
