The Brit Awards will be airing in May next year as the music ceremony has been pushed back three months due to the effects of the coronavirus.The awards show typically takes place in February but due to uncertainties stemming from COVID-19, it has been delayed.Chief executive of The Brits, Geoff Taylor, said: "We believe that the best way to achieve this in 2021 is to move the show back a few months to May."We are already at work planning a spectacular event that will remind us how important music has been in getting us all through these difficult times."The eligibility period for the awards is also set to be changed.The Brits were held on 18 February earlier this year at the O2 Arena with performances from stars including Harry Styles,.
