A 22-year-old Brit has suffered life-changing injuries after falling from a buggy while on holiday with friends. Andre Franco has been in hospital for five weeks and has undergone a series of major surgeries following the horror accident Cyprus.
He has been unable to walk or talk since the fall, which happened on the morning of Saturday May 21 2022 in tourist hotspot Ayia Napa.
Andre's mum Isabel Franco, 61, said the lads had been drinking heavily before taking the buggy out at around 6.30am local time.
Andre and a mate were both thrown off the back seat when the driver took a bend too fast. While his friend only suffered scratches from the fall, Andre cracked his head open, bleeding heavily and suffering major swelling to his brain.
