Bridgerton star hospitalised after breaking arm in horror climbing accident

Bridgerton star Ruby Barker has shared the horrific moment she fell and suffered an excruciating arm break during a bouldering session at a climbing centre.

Ruby, 27, who played Marina Thompson in the first series of the modernised period drama, shared shocking videos and photos of herself hospitalised on Instagram on Wednesday night.The actress has been concentrating on her fitness after sharing news about her mental health and announcing to her 176,000 followers that she had been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder just one day before her fall.

She shared a video of the incident online, as well as snaps of herself in the hospital getting stitched up. Ruby attended Last Sun Dance climbing and fitness gym in Leeds, to go bouldering - climbing without being attached to a rope or harness.

But during a climb, she lost her grip and tumbled to the ground where she unfortunately landed awkwardly on her arm. She was then filmed kneeling on the floor, with the right side of her body pressed against the ground as her left arm took the majority of the painful impact.
