Bridgerton remains a crowd-pleaser for Netflix. The Regency era drama has turned its attention to a storyline featuring Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton and Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington.
The Season 3 premiere was watched by 3.6M viewers in its first seven days on Netflix, according to official UK streaming service ratings supplied by overnights.tv.
The debut episode outperformed Season 2’s opening installment, which was watched by 3.4M in March 2022. Season 2 centered on the love story of Viscount Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Miss Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).
Bridgerton’s return was the third most-watched streaming title in the UK this year, beaten only by Netflix’s Fool Me Once (6.3M) and Season 3 of Amazon Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm (5.1M) over seven days.
