Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Bridge of Earn hair salon recently scooped enough award certificates to decorate a wall. Tanya Black Hairdressing was a finalist for Scotland in six categories at the British Hair and Beauty Awards.And boss Tanya Black was absolutely delighted when that led to two gold awards, a silver and three bronze wins. “Buzzing is an understatement,” said Tanya who celebrates 30 years in December with the Bridge of Earn salon that bears her name.

She bought the business on Main Street in 1991 when she was 21.When the flat next door came up for sale Tanya wisely bought it and knocked through to make her place bigger.Now 51, she joked: “You could say I’m in with the bricks.”She previously did well at the Hair and Beauty Awards in 2018, winning hair.
