For one heartbroken bride though, her high hopes for the day were shattered the minute she laid eyes on an unwelcomed guest that her fiancé had invited to their ceremony behind her back, the Mirror reports.The furious woman took to Reddit to explain that she had made it very clear to her husband-to-be that she did not want her father to be present on their big day as they didn't have a good relationship together due to deep rooted personal issues between them.

However, as she went to walk down the aisle, the bride spotted her dad taking a seat and she was left devastated that her partner had betrayed her, despite him having never even met her father before the occasion.She said that she felt her fiancé had broken the trust between them by going against her wishes and she left him standing at the altar as she fled the wedding.
