Brian Cox admits he thought he would 'finally' play a James Bond villain after signing up to a brand-new reality show. The Succession actor, 77, takes on the role of The Controller in the upcoming Prime Video series, 007: Road To A Million.The premise sees contestants competing in challenges set in iconic Bond locations such as the Scottish Highlands, Venice, and Jamaica to win up to £1m.
Appearing on The One Show, the Dundee-born actor admits he signed up for the role believing he would get to play a Bond villain.
He told Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas: “I did it under false pretences, well not false pretences but I thought it was a Bond movie, and I thought finally I’m going to play a Bond villain!"I’ve wanted to play a Bond villain for years.
