Brian Conley has explained why he is so happy to have joined EastEnders. The beloved British comedian, 59, is set to join the BBC One soap opera as the long-lost father of beloved character Sonia Fowler, who is played by Natalie Cassidy.

Upon the announcement of his casting as Terry, Brian revealed: "As you can imagine, being a Londoner and now being part of EastEnders is such an incredible moment for me.
