BrewDog announce launch of 'World's Strongest Beer'
dailyrecord.co.ukBrewDog has announced the launch of what they claim is the 'World's Strongest Beer'.The brewing giant has teamed up with former rivals German Brewer Schorschbräu to create the new beer which comes in at a whopping 57.8% abv which is as strong as a cask strength whisky.The firms had previously been engaged in a race to outdo each other in a bid to take the title of the maker of the world's strongest beer.BrewDog had struck the first blow in the race with the creation of ‘Tactical Nuclear Penguin’ a 33% beer which beat the previous record of 31% held by Schorschbräu.This led to the German team releasing a new version of their beer which came in 40% before BrewDog escalated the rivalry further with Sink the Bismarck at 41%.The Scots brewer had.
