Scott Brown could return to Parkhead in the future as Celtic manager. The Hoops captain will leave Parkhead this summer to join Aberdeen as a player-coach under new Dons gaffer Stephen Glass.
It will end a 14-year, trophy-laden career at Celtic for Brown who joined the club in 2007. He was Rodgers’ skipper when they enjoyed a period of sustained success on the way to a treble Treble.
And the Leicester City boss believes the esteem in which Brown is held at Celtic - as well as the qualities he’ll show as a coach - could lead him back to Parkhead.
Rodgers told MailSport: “There’s no doubt that Scott has the capacity to go back to Celtic one day and be manager of the club.
