Rueful Celtic watched a golden Champions League chance go begging as they were left wanting in a stuffy 0-0 draw with Dinamo Zagreb.

Brendan Rodgers' side moved to nine points and remain destined for the playoffs but were unable to cash in on dominance on the ball as Dinamo, reduced to 14 first-teamers, forced Celtic into minimal opportunities across 90 nervy minutes.

Celtic will hope to seal the deal against Young Boys in January but Rodgers knows his side had a chance to secure a third away Champions League win in their history.
