The hottest day of the year record has been smashed again after temperatures reached a scorching 33.3C. The Met Office confirmed the blistering figures was recorded at Heathrow Airport, making it the warmest day of the year for the second day in a row.
Yesterday was the hottest day of the year until now, after 32.6C was confirmed at the same location. It will also be a hot night for many after temperatures barely fell in any places last night.
A high of 19.9C was recorded on the Isle of Wight at 4am on Thursday, with similar temperatures expected tonight. Temperatures have also reached a scorching 30C in Prestwick today, making it Scotland's warmest day of the year.
