Phil Foden has ended speculation over his future by signing a new five-year contract at Manchester City, saying he is in the perfect place to continue his development in the coming years.
Foden's previous deal expired in 2024, with City keen to tie down his long-term future after coming through the academy from a young age to become one of Pep Guardiola's most important players.
Now, he has signed a three-year extension that will expire in 2027. Foden, 22, has won the PFA Young Player of the Year and Premier League Young Player of the Season for the last two seasons, and has already picked up 11 trophies in his early career.
In the last two seasons, he has become integral to Guardiola's team and recently passed 50 goals in a City shirt.
