dailyrecord.co.ukSouth Lanarkshire recorded the lowest number of coronavirus deaths for nine weeks last week.Figures released by the National Records of Scotland today (Wednesday, June 3) revealed the number of coronavirus deaths fell by almost two-thirds to eight last week.It's only the second time since the first recorded death in South Lanarkshire that the number of coronavirus deaths in one week has been less than 10 and the first time since the week ending March 29.However, five of the eight deaths last week occurred in the region's care homes which now means more coronavirus deaths have occurred in South Lanarkshire care homes than South Lanarkshire hospitals.That brings the total number of coronavirus deaths in South Lanarkshire to 282 of which 127
