A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Salford. The victim - a man aged in his 30s - was taken to hospital following the stabbing at Oakhill Court on Mandley Park Avenue at around 5pm on Wednesday (February 15).
He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, police said. Callum Shelton, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with attempted murder.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information, or anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage that may be helpful, is being urged to contact officers.
