An attempted murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed in Bury. The knife attack happened on Haworth Walk in Radcliffe at around 11.55pm on Tuesday night (August 29).
Police said a man was 'targeted' by another man with a knife. The 44-year-old suffered injuries to his neck and back. He was rushed to hospital from the scene.
He remains there in a serious but stable condition, police said. The attacker fled the scene but was found by a member of the public a short distance away near the Parish of St Thomas and St John Church on New Church Street.
