iOS - Android The largest number of the new cases last week were in East Kilbride and Avondale where 471 were recorded - up by 170 per cent on the previous week.That equates to 4.92 cases per 1000 residents.Rutherglen and Cambuslang saw the second highest rate of new COVID-19 cases.Last week saw 299 cases in Rutherglen and Cambuslang – up 131 per cent on the previous week – which equates to 4.91 cases per 1000 residents.The Hamilton area saw the third highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the region last week after 466 were recorded – up 62 per cent.That equates to 4.52 cases per 1000 residents.Clydesdale recorded 248 COVID-19 cases last week – up by 85 per cent.The rate of new cases last week was lowest in Clydesdale at 4.08 per 1000.
