Brave survivor feared she was 'going to die' at hands of monster ex during horror ordeal

A woman has bravely spoken out about the horrific domestic abuse she suffered at the hands of her 'monster' ex-boyfriend. Karla Wilson thought she’d found the love of her life after meeting Lewis Greenwood through a mutual friend.But the 33-year-old soon realised there were “a lot of red flags” before he hit her for the first time just months into their relationship.

Greenwood, 38, began controlling everything she did before smearing dog poo in her face during one harrowing incident. The situation came to a head when the brute ‘kicked off’ during a spa day in August last year which had been arranged for his birthday with strangers saving the NHS administrator.

The mum-of-one told LancsLive how he showered her with kindness at the beginning of their romance but things soon took a nasty turn.

She said: "He was obsessed with me - and not in a nice way. He knew everything about my life. He'd been looking at my Facebook for years.
