A young boy with a brain tumour who was told he had only days to live has fought back for four months after being inspired by his TikTok star wrestling coach.Carson Love, five, was diagnosed last September after going to hospital with dizzy spells.Mum Michaela, 31, was told to prepare for the worst but has praised the support of his wrestling teacher David McCallum, known as Ravie Davie online.He visited Carson constantly at Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children and is coaching him again at his Glasgow School of Wrestling, where the youngster has been inspired to fight against his condition.Michaela said: “We were told it was only a virus, then, all of a sudden, we were told he was dying.
It was gut-wrenching.“David was the only person that could keep him on a level to get different tests done. With him saying that Carson could get through it, it was a massive thing.
He really looks up to him.”Carson initially felt dizzy in one of the wrestling classes and saw doctors who at first suspected it was due to a viral infection.Tests later found he had obstructive hydrocephalus caused by a brain tumour and he had only days to live.
Michaela said: “The doctor showed me the fluid all over his brain being blocked by this tumour. "I was told he needed emergency surgery to drain it but basically he was dying and may only have a couple of days.
