Brave locals stand up to hammer-wielding thugs trying to steal motorbike in clip
dailyrecord.co.ukBrave locals took a stand against criminals in their area after masked thugs tried to steal motorbikes in broad daylight. The balaclava-clad gang tried to smash the locks on the vehicles with hammers in Berkeley Square, Clifton, Bristol, on Monday afternoon.
Two crooks were standing on the road while the third man repeatedly struck at the chain with the weapon. One courageous woman confronts the yobs, telling them to "f*** off", before one man starts to chase her with the hammer.Onlookers begin yelling at the gang at this point, and another man steps in to confront them.
He is then also threatened with the hammer, Bristol Live reports.The thugs then turn their attention on passersby filming their criminal actions, and one tries to snatch the phone out of a witness' hand.
The brave woman once again tells the group to "f*** off".Having failed in their attempts to steal a motorbike, the trio then make off on the bike on which they arrived.
