Brandon Williams has revealed he will not be able to go and watch Manchester United teammate James Garner feature for Nottingham Forest in Sunday’s Championship play-off final.

The pair, both 21, have struck up a close bond since coming through the youth ranks at the club. Despite enjoying frequent game time during the 2019/20 season, United are set to listen to offers for Williams after a loan spell at Norwich this term.

Meanwhile, Garner has flourished on loan at Forest under Steve Cooper and has helped them to the play-off final after missing out on automatic promotion.

He is expected to be named in the line-up that will face Huddersfield for a place in the Premier League, with many tipping him to be knocking on the door of the first team when he returns to United.
