Brad Pitt's harsh words about Jennifer Aniston which forced him to apologise

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are getting on better now than at any point since they separated in 2005 but it was an apology that paved the way to this reconciliation.

The 56-year-old Hollywood legend ditched Friends star Jen for Angelina Jolie, 15 years ago, and a few years afterwards he spoke out about his ex and it wasn't on the happiest of notes.

In 2011, Brad spoke to Parade magazine and was so cutting about Jennifer that he felt he had to say sorry for his harsh words when they hooked up again.

His comments proved to be quite hurtful and they upset Jennifer at the time, as Brad spilled the beans on how he was feeling during their marriage.
