Hundreds of BP customers who were wrongly told they could claim £2,000 worth of reward points will now receive a payout. The U-turn comes just weeks after customers were handed receipts stating they'd won thousands of pounds worth of reward points due to a technical error.
The receipts stated they'd won 400,000 BP reward points, which are worth £2,000, as part of its 'Fuel Your Year' promotion. These points can be spent at retailers such as Amazon and Marks & Spencer.
