Boyzone's Keith Duffy rushed to hospital in Dubai needing surgery before concert
dailyrecord.co.ukKeith Duffy has been rushed to hospital after suffering an injury hours before a performance in Dubai. The former Boyzone singer, 49, has shared a photo of himself lying in bed with his knee bandaged up with medical staff around him.
In the post, Keith thanked the hospital staff for helping him to get back on his feet and making sure the procedure can wait until he’s back home.Keith is scheduled to perform alongside Brian McFadden in Dubai as part of the group Boyzlife on Friday.
Writing in the caption, he said: "A huge thank you to all the Doctors and nurses at Dubai's Mediclinic who helped me get back on my feet for tomorrow's big show in Dubai".
He added: "Surgery on hold till I get home but a little patch work some pain management and the show must go on", before signing off the message with a blue heart emoji.Keith has been struggling with a knee injury after taking part in a Mount Kenya Challenge – which saw the singer climb Mount Kenya on behalf of The Keith Duffy Foundation in aid of autism support.
