Will Friedle, who starred as Eric Matthews in the early 1990s sitcom “Boy Meets World,” revealed Monday that he used to resell porn to his buddies as a side business at age 11.During an appearance on the podcast “Hey Dude … The 90s Called!,” the former child actor explained that he would often buy the X-rated magazines whenever he would go to New York to audition for roles. “I’d get off at Port Authority, and my manager would pick me up — most of the time — and I would walk the streets at 11 years old,” Friedle, 47, said. “I started smoking at a very young age, so I would go and I would buy cigarettes.”According to the “Kim Possible” actor, that’s when he realized he could start supplementing his income by selling the magazines to his friends. “I knew I could sell them for way more money to my friends back in Connecticut,” he went on. “I would stop at the kiosk and they would look at me and say, ‘Well, you’re 11, so of course, here are cigarettes and porn.’ ” “This is like the dark ‘Home Alone,’ ” the show’s co-host David Lascher said, causing Friedle to laugh.

According to the actor, his parents, who were both lawyers at the time, were not pleased when they eventually found out about his little side hustle. “I tell my parents these stories now, and they are retroactively mortified that any of this ever happened,” he said. “But I loved it, you know.”As for critics, he added: “They think I’m lying or they think my parents had a serious problem.”Despite his questionable acts while in the Big Apple, Friedle said that his time spent in New York City taught him more about life than his hometown of Avon, Connecticut.
