A six-year-old boy has been mauled to death by two dogs at the home of a family friend.Loyalty Charles Scott died after being attacked by two Great Dane-mastiff mixes in the garage of the home in Portland, Oregon, after being dropped off by his gran.The two dogs were humanely destroyed after the incident, the Mirror reported.
Both dogs were unlicensed. A third dog found in the home was also taken by Multnomah County Animal Services.The homeowner said the boy had opened the garage door and the dogs charged at him.
It is unclear if she will face criminal charges.A GoFundMe has been set up to help support the boy’s gran, whom he lived with.
It said: “Loyalty touched so many hearts. He always had a smile on his face and there was no way anyone could be in a bad mood around him."He loved everyone and everything.
