Boy George says he feels like he "was being poisoned" on the first eating trial of I'm A Celebrity 2022.The 80s pop icon will be seen "stopped in his tracks" by the gruesome tastes of fermented plum when he takes on the challenge alongside Matt Hancock in tonight's episode of the ITV show.It's Boy George's first time in the hot seat since he entered camp last weekend, and Matt Hanock's faces his third Bushtucker trial with La Cucaracha Cafe.Former Health Secretary Hancock has been thrown into the deep end of the show since his arrival on Tuesday night with comedian Seann Walsh, on Wednesday's show he was seen taking on his first trial with his fellow new arrival and on Thursday he took on the Tentacles of Terror on his own, winning a full house of 11 stars for camp.Boy George has made no secret of his unease at Hancock coming on to the ITV show after he was forced to resign as health secretary when he broke his own social distancing rules.He was told on Thursday's show he will face the first eating trial of the series alongside Hancock in a bid to win grub for their fellow contestants.In a preview clip released by ITV, the singer can be seen chomping his way quickly through the food being served up, but stopping to gag as he chewed on the fourth plum.Dec said: "Hold on, something's stopped him in his tracks."George replied: "Yeah, the taste."He then went on to say the dish tasted like "perfume" and like he was "being poisoned".Matt and George filmed the scenes on Friday morning in Australia, shortly after viewers at home found out who was being served up for the challenge on Thursday's show.In the preview, vegetarian George is presented with the fermented plums and told he must eat six to be in with a chance of winning
