A boy who allegedly spat at, kicked, and bit a police officer has been arrested. This followed a suspected 'high value' theft from the Trafford Centre Selfridges store.
Another boy thought to be connected to this incident was also arrested and found to be in possession of a knife, police said.
Officers were at the Trafford Centre as part of Operation Sceptre, a national campaign against knife crime. The boy, who's age is not disclosed, was detained by officers as they had committed a 'high value theft' from the Selfridges store in the Trafford Centre, police said.
